KK Sabac Warriors: 147
KK Kruevac: 42
KK Kruevac: 42
KK Sabac found yet more reason to rejoice, as they managed yet another 100+ point win, absolutely destroying KK Kruevac in all four quarters. Managing to outscore them by 24 in teh first quarter, 32 in the second, 14 in the 3rd and 35 in the 4th, the lead was never in jeopardy and KK Kruevac never managed to rally together to put up a run against the stifling defense and uncannily efficient offense of Sabac.
Blake Blake managed to get his third straight Man of the Match award, an astonishing feat considering how amazing Gordon Goldhamer played all night. Blake Blake managed to put up a mind boggling triple double, the first time he has accomplished this feat in his career, with an impressive all around statline. Blake managed 25 points (10 of 16 shooting, 4 of 6 free throws), 18 rebounds (7 offensive), 10 assists, 3 blocks and a steal, filling up the box score in every way possible, as well as putting on a tremendous defensive effort, holding the opposing centers to a combined 0/15 shooting night. On the other end of the floor, the Sabac point guard continued to impress, managing a season and career high 37 points (12/16 shooting, managing 7/9 of those from three point land, as well as going 6/6 from the free throw line), 9 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. Robert McCrary broke his recent slumping streak on a well rounded night with 18 points (6/14 FG, 3/8 of which were from 3 point land, and 3/6 free throws), 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Xiang Cao made a tremendous contribution off the bench with 13 points (5/7 FG, 2/2 FT), 1 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals in a mere 12 minutes.
For KK Kruevac, one player managed to stand out and play well, which was Wes Borland. He had a good night with 24 points (on 9/19 shooting, 5/6 FT), 1 rebound, 3 assists and a steal in 48 minutes. KK Kruevac's other players, however, were held largely scoreless, a combined 18 points coming from the rest of the players.
KK Sabac will be having a two day break coming up, as the automatically qualified for round 2 of the Serbia Cup and had a free day coming up afterwards. Following the break, the Warriors will look forward to playing KK Vranje who, at this time, have a rather unimpressive record with 1 win and 4 losses. The Sabac manager is quoted as saying "We won't take them lightly, however. Every one of our guys will go out there and play like a champion."
