Day 2: KK Leskovac Babies @ Sabac Warriors

Sabac Warriors: 63
KK Leskovac: 129

The Sabac Warriors found themselves coming off of their biggest win margin since their inception, and felt good coming in to play the defending champs of Serbia Prima. The Warriors found out why Prima Serbia was a higher league than the Serbia 1st Division as they played the class of the division, defending champs, winners of the Serbia Cup... and got absolutely dismantled.

The players of Sabac found themselves under the unfortunate circumstance of being outclassed on all fronts. Through shear force of talent, Leskovac intimidated their way through most of the Warriors' line up. The only players from the Warriors who managed to maintain composure in the face of superior talent were Blake Blake, who outplayed highly regarded center Petar Tokanovi, who posted impressive stats in cup games and international games, whereas Blake himself had no previous experience in either forms of competition. Petar also averaged a double double (17.3 PPG, 11.7 RPG) in his career, which is considerably better than those of Blake Blake, star center for the Warriors. Blake systematically beat Petar on both ends of the floor, holding him to 13 points on 5 of 20 shooting from the field, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocks. Blake himself managed 19 points on 9/14 shooting, 6 rebounds (3 offensive) and 2 assists.

On the other end of the floor, Gordon Goldhammer played very well, managing 5/8 shooting from the field (1/1 from 3PT) for 15 points, as well as managing 3 rebounds and 2 assists, though he was completely outplayed on the other end of the floor by the opposing point guard, who managed 22 points (10 of 13 shooting), 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 steals in 48 minutes of play.

The real story of the game was KK Leskovac's star player, shooting guard Ivan Bjelajac, who managed an unreal 31 points (11/16 shooting, 3/3 3PT, 6/6 FT), 9 rebounds, 11 assists, 1 block and 2 steals and never left the floor as he summarily demolished anyone who guarded him, and on the other end of the floor, held Daniel Simmons to 3/12 shooting, and Xiang Cao to 3/7 shooting.
